Nancy completed a Master of Counselling and a Master of Divinity degrees. She holds the Canadian Certified Counsellor certification with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, as well as the Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner certification with the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care.
Nancy has been a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for over twenty-two years, and received the Canadian Forces Decoration award for her service. She provided mental health services to the members of the Canadian Armed Forces for over thirteen years. During that time, she worked with individuals, couples and families facing various challenges and difficult circumstances.
Nancy practices in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, suicidal ideation and self-harm, adapting to life after serious injury/disease, military life, spirituality, gender identity and diversity, substance use and behavioural addictions.
